Full privacy-first reporting, using the Google Analytics setup you already own.

OwlInsight does not install its own visitor tracking on your websites and does not store raw Google Analytics event logs on OwlInsight servers. It connects to Google Analytics 4 using read-only access so you can review reporting data from the properties your Google account already manages, without the messy native GA interface.

What OwlInsight reads

OwlInsight requests Google Analytics access so it can read property names, reporting dimensions, and reporting metrics for the signed-in user. The purpose is only to display your analytics data in a cleaner dashboard. In plain language: you sign in with Google, pick your existing GA property, and OwlInsight reads reporting data to render your widgets.

  • We only request read-only Google Analytics access.
  • We do not modify, delete, or write back to your analytics property.
  • We do not install an OwlInsight tracking script on your site.

What OwlInsight does not store

OwlInsight does not create a separate analytics profile of your website visitors. It does not ask you to add extra OwlInsight tracking code to your site, and it does not collect independent browsing data outside of the Google Analytics data already available in your own property.

  • We do not sell your analytics data or use it for advertising.

What OwlInsight does store to operate the service

To run the product, OwlInsight stores the minimum service data needed for authentication and dashboard continuity, such as your account record, session data, connected Google account tokens, selected properties, and saved dashboard preferences.

  • That stored data exists to let you sign in and keep your dashboard setup.
  • It is not used to build a separate visitor-tracking product.
  • Your Google Analytics property remains the source of truth for reporting.

What privacy means here in plain language

If you want data to appear in OwlInsight, your website or app must already be set up with Google Analytics correctly. OwlInsight is a cleaner interface on top of the reporting setup you already control. We are not adding extra trackers, not copying your raw GA history into a separate analytics system, and not changing your property data.
